GameTimeDecisions

** The Chargers have decided to hold RB LaDainian Tomlinson out of their Week 2 matchup against the Ravens as he recovers from an ankle injury suffered in Week 1. Initially, Tomlinson was going to be a game-time decision, but his protective boot kept him from practicing all week. RB Darren Sproles should see around 15 touches and makes a nice play this week.

** Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as "questionable" to face the Jaguars Sunday. We'd be real surprised if he didn't play though. And it's a 1 pm ET kickoff, so you'll know if Boldin is active or not before lineups are due.

** Chiefs QB Matt Cassel (knee) was limited in Friday's practice and is officially listed as "questionable" for Sunday's game against Oakland. He's not a strong play this week against a Raiders secondary that looked surprisingly good against the Chargers last week.

** The Eagles listed QB Donovan McNabb as "doubtful" on their official injury report. It means there's still a chance he could play Sunday if his ribs feel good during pregame warmups. But we're not counting on that.

** Saints RB Pierre Thomas (knee) was limited in practice on Friday and will be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Eagles. For what it's worth, most of the Saints beat writers don't expect him to go. He's too risky to start this week. RB Mike Bell, on the other hand, is a fine RB3 or flex player.

** Bucs WR Antonio Bryant re-aggravated that knee injury against the Cowboys last week and didn't even travel with the team to Buffalo for their Week 2 game. Rookie Sammie Stroughter will replace him but shouldn't be in fantasy lineups. WR Michael Clayton, on the other hand, should see a few more targets and makes a sneaky WR3 play.

** Seahawks WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back) returned to practice Friday and will play this week against San Fran. He'll face a stiff test in CB Nate Clements. But Housh is still a fine WR2 play.

** After being limited earlier this week, Browns RB Jamal Lewis (neck) returned to a full practice on Friday. He's a decent play against the Broncos. Lewis could see some extra work on Sunday because backup RB James Davis is listed as "questionable."

** The Chargers have placed NT Jamal Williams (triceps) on I.R., ending his 2009 season. This is a monumental blow, as Williams' presence up the middle is vital to San Diego's defense. They'll struggle stopping the run now, starting with this week against the Ravens.

** With WR Anthony Gonzalez (knee) out, WR Pierre Garcon will start opposite Reggie Wayne on Monday night for the Colts. But WR Austin Collie will be mixed in too. Neither guy is worth a start until we see how the playing time will be divided.

** According to the Washington Post, Redskins RB Clinton Portis felt worn out Monday morning despite seeing just 16 carries in Week 1. "Portis said he woke up the next morning and felt as if he'd just had 25 to 30 carries," Rick Maese writes. Portis looked noticeably slower against the Giants last week and is definitely on the down-turn of his career. A Week 2 matchup against the Rams should help Portis' stat line. But if he has a big game, you might consider selling high on him.

** The Steelers will begin using a rotation at RB this week. RB Willie Parker will start the game and play the first 2 series. Then RB Rashard Mendenhall will come in for a drive. Pittsburgh will ride the hot hand from there on out, with RB Mewelde Moore continuing to handle 3rd-down work. None of these guys are recommended plays against the Bears.

** Giants SS Kenny Phillips (knee) did not practice Friday and is looking doubtful for the team's Sunday night game against the Cowboys. New York's secondary is getting real thin with CB Aaron Ross (hamstring) out and FS Michael Johnson banged up. Get QB Tony Romo, WRs Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton, and TE Jason Witten into your lineup this week.

** Bengals OC Bob Bartowski said he'll get WR Chris Henry more involved in the team's offense in Week 2. Henry saw just 18 of a possible 63 offensive snaps for the Bengals last week. The Bengals will surely throw it a lot against a stout Packers rush defense, so he could be an under the radar WR3 play this week.

** Seahawks WR Deion Branch (hamstring) was limited in practice all week and will be a game-time decision tomorrow. He's not worth a look even if he plays.

** Bears TE Desmond Clark suffered a cracked rib in Sunday night's loss to the Packers. He's expected to miss a few weeks. Good news for TE Greg Olsen, who should see a few additional targets per game now. Clark's absence hurts RB Matt Forte though, as Clark is one of the better blocking TEs in the NFL.

** Steelers WR Limas Sweed (foot) won't play this week against the Bears. That means more snaps for rookie WR Mike Wallace, who was impressive in the season opener. He's still not worth a start though.

** Titans TE Jared Cook (ankle) was limited again in practice on Friday and will be a game-time decision. With TE Bo Scaife out, we're betting Cook gives it a go.

** Texans WR Kevin Walter (hamstring) was limited in Friday's practice. This comes after he practiced in full on Wednesday. He likely suffered a setback and is now listed as "questionable" for the team's Week 2 matchup against the Titans. Look for a different option this week.

** The Colts have signed WR Hank Baskett, who was just released by the Eagles. It's another weapon for QB Peyton Manning, but Baskett isn't worth a look in fantasy leagues right now.

** Seahawks LB Lofa Tatupu (hamstring) did not practice at all this week. He's listed as ;questionable," but we don't expect him to play against San Fran. Great news for RB Frank Gore.
